Medill

Last October Emmy Award–winning Chicago newscaster Derrick Blakley (J75) and fellow WBBM-TV anchor Diann Burns joined Medill School of Journalism Associate Dean Ava Greenwell (J84, GJ85) for a discussion of television news contracts as part of the Gertrude and G.D. Crain Jr. Lecture Series. Author Kathy Kolbe (J61) spoke to an Integrated Marketing Communications class about becoming better problem solvers, and Chicago Sun-Times television and radio columnist Robert Feder (J78) presented a Classes Without Quizzes lecture during Homecoming and Reunions 2003 about the influence of community groups and consultants on television news.

Members of the Medill Club of New York joined with local Kellogg alumni last October for a chocolate-tasting event in the SoHo showroom of Marie Belle Fine Treats and Chocolates.
