Saturday Night Live, 1982–85: At age 21, Julia Louis-Dreyfus joined NBC’s Saturday Night Live, where she worked alongside her future husband, Brad Hall, and comedians such as Jim Belushi and Eddie Murphy.
Seinfeld, 1990–98: Louis-Dreyfus won an Emmy Award in 1996 for outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series for her role as the assertive yet superficial Elaine Benes on the popular NBC sitcom Seinfeld.
The New Adventures of Old Christine, 2006–10: Following Seinfeld and the short-lived NBC series Watching Ellie (2002–03), Louis-Dreyfus starred in CBS’ The New Adventures of Old Christine, a comedy focused on her character’s life as a divorced mother. Ten years after her first Emmy, she won again in 2006, this time for outstanding lead actress in a comedy series.

Enough Said, 2013: In her first leading role in a feature-length film, Louis-Dreyfus starred alongside the late James Gandolfini in the romantic comedy.
Veep, 2012–14: Playing the lead role of U.S. Vice President Selina Meyer on the HBO satirical comedy Veep, Louis-Dreyfus won back-to-back Emmys for outstanding lead actress in a comedy series in 2012 and 2013.
