Students from the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences survey the landscape during passage into the heart of the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve in southeast Mexico. The students were part of a 21-person contingent on an eight-day field trip to the Yucatán Peninsula to study carbonate geology and aqueous geochemistry. The students pictured above are Rosemary Bush, front, Allison Baczynski, second standing, Clayton Brengman, third standing, and Yun-Yuan Chang, seated.
