                   and hungry in our immediate area

    The Lutheran Center at NU is open this week:
       Monday through Friday, 9:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.

    Wednesday -  6:00 p.m. - Soup & Bread Supper ($1)
              -  6:30 p.m. - Midweek Lenten Worship,    
                   including a discussion of the        
                   Apostles' Creed in Luther's          
                   Catechisms
              -  7 to 10 p.m. - Study Night at the      
                   Center
              - 10:00 p.m. - Late-Night Worship: a      
                   weekly, student-led prayer service   
                   in our building, with Canterbury-NU
              
    Thursday  -  5:30 to 7:30 p.m. - Film and discus-   
                   sion with the Interfaith Hall (at    
                   the Center, over supper): the film   
                   is "Life and Debt," which shows the  
                   effects of globalization on Jamaica

    Saturday  -  9:30 a.m.- Gather for a morning of     
                   Habitat Restoration at Skokie        
                   Lagoons.  Wear grubby clothes, and   
                   bring a water bottle.  If you can    
                   go, please write Dave Kosnik         
                   (dek@middlefork.net).  We'll return  
                   by 2:30 p.m.
