Move-In Parking Information
For Students Moving in on Friday, September 13th
Students moving to campus on Friday, September 13th as part of an approved Early Arrival group can utilize the residential lots closest to their building while they are moving in their belongings without displaying a parking permit. Students may not park in designated fire lanes, reserved spaces, disabled parking areas, or in a way that obstructs the lane of traffic. Please use sound judgment when parking your vehicle during unloading and move it to a long-term parking area as soon as you have completed your unloading.
For Students Moving in on Monday, September 16th
New and transfer student move-in is quickly approaching!
Remember that any student unloading a vehicle on 9/16 will need an unloading parking permit to be able to enter the parking lot/area closest to your building. Any vehicle left in a designated unloading zone past the expiration of their permit is subject to ticketing and/or towing.
To print out your unloading parking permit, follow the instructions included in an email to be sent in early September. This email will provide a link to where you can log in using your netid and password to print your unloading parking permit.
The parking lot/area listed on your unloading parking permit does not necessarily correspond with your housing assignment (with its namesake), but it is the closest parking lot/area to your building.
If you have any questions or experience issues while attempting to print your permit, please contact Residential Services at (847) 467-HOME (4663) or firstname.lastname@example.org.
