Returning CA Application

The following application procedures are for people applying to be a Returning Community Assistant (RCA) only. Anyone applying for a Community Assistant position should refer to the Community Assistant Application Procedures.

Please read the following options closely to ensure that you are completing the appropriate forms.

Returning CA application process and guidelines

• Any current CAs wishing to return must complete a Returning CA application and submit a supervisor evaluation form completed by their AC.
• All RCA applicants must be in good employment and academic standing at the time of application.

The forms needed to complete the returning CA application are:

• The returning CA  application (Word document) -- to be completed by a current CA applying to return
• The supervisor reference form (Word document) -- to be completed by the CA's Area Coordinator.

Timeline

RCA applications and supervisor reference forms are due on February 1, 2013 by 12 noon. Once applications are received, RCA applicants will be contacted to schedule a 30-minute interview with an Area Coordinator (not their current supervisor) sometime between February 6 and 15, 2013. Decision letters will be sent to all candidates on February 19, 2013. Students offered positions for the 2013-14 academic year must respond to the offer by Friday, February 22 at 12 noon. RCA staff, building and room placement will be announced in mid-July.
