Returning Students

Housing assignments for the upcoming academic year are made during the previous spring quarter in April.  This process, known as the Returning Student Self-Assignment Process, is a priority-based system whereby seniors have the highest priority in selecting rooms, followed by juniors, and then sophomores.

Students returning either for the beginning of the winter or spring quarters would apply for University housing the quarter before returning to campus.

In the rare instances where a student requires University housing mid-quarter, every effort is made to accommodate that student, based upon existing vacancies.
