In Tim’s capacity as the Associate Director of the Facilities and Construction unit, he is responsible for building operations and maintenance throughout the 1.7 million square foot residence hall portfolio. This involves supervision of all externally contracted vendors and University service trades staff, acting as a liaison to City of Evanston and University Risk Management personnel, overseeing the work order program and serving on project teams managing summer and large-scale renovation work. Tim is also responsible for the development of annual preventative maintenance tasks and repair priorities, ensures all preventative maintenance work is executed and the implementation of sustainability-based initiatives.
Prior to his appointment at Northwestern, Tim served as the Director of Facilities and Operations within the Ohio University Athletic Department where he oversaw numerous facility improvements and upgrades during his tenure along with managing event operations for the 23 sport program department.
Tim earned his Bachelors of Arts degree from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa in management and received his Master of Science degree from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana.
