About Us
The Residential Services @ NU website provides a wealth of information integrated from the responsibilities or coordinated efforts of several distinct departments within the university. For emergency assistance after business hours, please contact University Police at 847-491-3456 and ask to have an Area Coordinator on duty paged. There are two Area Coordinators on Call 24 hours a day, seven days a week when classes are in session.

University Residential Life
University Residential Life is responsible for resident educational programs, advising hall governments, and developing residential communities that provide students the opportunity to learn social responsibility and interpersonal skills in a safe and comfortable environment. URL's full-time, live in professional staff members and more than 100 Community Assistants are available to assist residents throughout the academic year.
