This winter, IPR inaugurated a series of two-page policy briefs based
on faculty research, reports, and working papers. The first two are reproduced
in this issue.
"Fatherhood and Incarceration" is based on a paper Kathryn
Edin presented at an IPR conference on The Effects of Incarceration on
Children and Families.
"Denying Felons and Ex-Felons the Vote: The Political Consequences,
Past and Future," was co-authored by Jeff
Manza. The briefs and papers are posted on the IPR Web site at: www.northwestern.edu/ipr.
