Biostatistics Collaboration Center Lecture Series
Basic Biostatistics in Medical Research
Fall 2007
The Biostatistics Collaboration Center (BCC) in the Department of Preventive Medicine is announcing a series of 6 free introductory lectures on biostatistics in medical research. These non-technical lectures are free and open to any interested member of the Northwestern community. They have been designed with the following objectives:
1.) To assist participants in interpreting statistics published in the medical literature.
2.) To highlight different statistical methodology for investigators considering their own research.
3.) To facilitate the communication between medical researchers and biostatisticians.
All lectures will be held in the Hughes Auditorium in the Robert H. Lurie Medical Research Center at 303 E. Superior on the Chicago Campus
