International Student Document Request

• Social Security Letter for F-1 Students
  Necessary for your Social Security Application, along with your job offer letter, I-20, I-94 card and passport.
• Social Security Letter for J-1 Students 
  Neccessary for your Social Security Application, along with your DS-2019, I-94 card and passport.
• Immigration Status Verification Letter
  Can be used to verify enrollment at NU and may also to be used as a visa support letter.

International Scholar Document Request

• Visa Support Packages
  Necessary for visa acquisition outside the U.S. This package includes: visa support letter, copy of approved petition, original approval notice (I-797A/I-797B).
• Extension Support Packages
  Recommended for travel while extension is pending, prior to current end-date of a valid visa stamp. This includes a copy of extension petition and an original extension receipt notice (I-797C).
• Original Approval Notice (I-797A/I-797B)
  Necessary for travel outside the U.S.
• Visa Support Letter
