As Program Assistant for Multicultural Student Affairs, Colleen is responsible for hiring and supervising undergraduate student staff, management of all three MSA spaces: the Black House, the MCC, and the Gender and Sexuality Resource Center, and for managing communications for MSA such as the website and listserv.

Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Colleen earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Spanish from Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa, and recently earned her Masters degree in International Studies from DePaul University. Prior to joining Northwestern, she worked with the Institutional Advancement team at Zamorano University, located in the Valle de Yeguare, Honduras. Colleen speaks Spanish fluently and has also spent time in Chiapas, Mexico teaching primary school students. After spending a decade living on the west coast, east coast, and southern Mexico, she is excited to return home. In her free time, Colleen enjoys learning Vietnamese, spending time with family and friends, reading, and planning cross-country road trips.
