Professional Development Programs

Professional Development Programs (Non-credit)

Professional Development Programs at the School of Professional Studies offer students the opportunity to enhance or develop new professional skills through noncredit coursework, and can help working professionals to prepare for a variety of certification exams including CFP®, CTP®, SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP℠) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP℠). Three Project Management certificate tracks are also available, designed to satisfy the project management training hours required to sit for PMI's Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)®, and Project Management for Professional (PMP)® certification exams. Elective courses offer PDU credit toward maintaining those certifications.

The following educational programs are all available to full-time staff because they offer flexible or non-standard classroom schedules and part-time options.  These programs are eligible for the Employee Reduced Tuition Benefits for undergraduate study (plan ID: ERU).  Learn more about the online application for tuition benefits and employee eligibility.
