ETES Computer Based Tutorials

Directions for using the ETES Computer Based Training System

Please use Internet Explorer to view the ETES online training tutorial. If Flash is not installed on your PC, please download Flash now by clicking here . The tutorial contains an audio component so if your computer does not have speakers, try using headphones. If your computer does not contain a sound card, please contact your supervisor to arrange an alternative work station to use this system.

Once in the tutorial, you will see several different links each of that explain how to use a particular feature of the system. Included are instructions on accessing ETES and logging in, entering hours and submitting your electronic timesheet, making prior or future changes to a timesheet, running timesheet reports, and for biweekly regular employees, using special earning codes such as Holiday and Overtime. We suggest that if this is your first time using ETES, that you go through each section of the tutorial in the order it appears on the home page. You may also click on whichever link you wish to use at any time later on if you need to refer back to a particular section or wish to review a section a second time.

Each section contains a pause button in the bottom right-hand corner of the window that allows you to pause the tutorial at any time. To resume playing the tutorial again, click the same button. Once the section has ended, close the window by clicking on the x in the top right hand corner. You may then choose another section or leave the tutorial by closing the browser.
