E-Verify is an internet-based system, operated by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), which enables employees to verify employment eligibility of their workforces. Data is sent to E-Verify from an employee's electronic I-9, which must be completed by all new hires.
Training for Section 2 Processors:
- Form I-9 Section 2 Processor's Training is available for anyone who currently signs off on I-9s for a department or center. This includes department administrators, program assistants, hiring managers, or anyone else that assists in the hiring process.
- To access the electronic I-9 system, complete the I-9 security request form and attend the annual training class.
- Please enroll for training on-line in the Self Service Portal. This link will send you directly to the class schedule or you can search by class name and enter I-9 under Learning and Development>Request Training Enrollment>Search by Course Name.
- Training will be offered quarterly. Section 2 Processors will also be required to attend annual training and will be notified when they are available.
