FASIS Query Information

Queries are customized reports that examine position, appointment, employee or general  ledger data in the FASIS system.

Query training prepares those who have already taken FASIS Lookup to run Public queries created for use by all query users at the University. It also gives a solid grounding in how to create your own queries from scratch so you can customize how you view data pertaining to multiple positions or multiple people.

Register for the FASIS Query class.

Note: Query training is only open to those who have completed the FASIS Lookup class and have security access to FASIS.

FASIS Query Report Assistance

  • Departments can request one-time query reports, ongoing queries or changes to existing queries of FASIS data.
  • Fees range from $5 - $60 depending on the complexity of the request and will be determined by an FASIS business analyst before the query is developed.
  • It takes about three days to complete a query report request.
  • To submit your request, complete the FASIS Reporting Service Request Form PDF Document and email it to the FASIS Help Desk at fasishelp@northwestern.edu . 

Cancellation Policy

There is a fifty dollar no-show penalty for all FASIS training classes, charged to your chart string. To avoid this penalty, if you cannot attend, you must drop the class more than 24 hours before the class starts.
