Payroll Transactions |

The main objective of this project is to decentralize payroll transactions by creating online pages that departments/schools will use in lieu of submitting position/appointment forms to the Payroll Department.
There will be several phases of this project and the transactions will be rolled out in groups of three. Phase One begins with transactions that do not require approval workflow to implement and will be rolled out this spring/summer. Phase Two will come later in the calendar year and will include more complex transactions that require approval workflow.
The first three pages to be implemented in Phase One are:
Inactivating a position number
Updating the Reports To number that resides on the Position Data page (This field is what currently drives ETES security.)
Updating the Check Address code
The new Payroll Transaction pages will be located on the administrative side of HRIS along with the already existing pages: Online Directory for Managers and the Reports To page (used to update the approvers for Staff Conflict of Interest, Staff Leave Accruals, Performance Evaluations and Training.
