Conflict of Interest

Northwestern University is committed to excellent teaching, innovative research, and the personal and intellectual growth of its students in a diverse academic community. In alignment with this mission, Northwestern requires the disclosure of external interests related to university responsibilities. The responsibility for disclosing potential Conflicts of Commitment or Conflicts of Interest rests with individual members of the Northwestern community. It is the University’s obligation to determine if the disclosed interests could directly or significantly affect University responsibilities and, if so, require management, reduction, or elimination of the identified conflict.
