Good Faith Search

Employment searches are conducted in compliance with the equal employment opportunity laws of the United States and the affirmative action plan of the University.

Regular Staff

If a non-minority male is selected for a position, the director of equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, and disability services reviews the employment process to assure that the employment search effort was conducted in good faith compliance with the law and plan (see Good Faith Search form (PDF PDF) ). This step is completed before an employment offer is made.

Tenured and Tenure-Track Regular Faculty

For Tenured and Tenure-Track faculty positions, a packet of information regarding the Faculty Affirmative Action Search Guidelines, including the Affirmative Action Summary for Proposed Full-time Regular Faculty Appointments form, is available through Ms. Andrea Gurr (847-491-7042 or a-gurr@northwestern.edu) in the Provost's Office.
