Northwestern employees may take advantage of life insurance, as well as other types of insurance plans. See the links below to view benefits, enrollment information and detailed descriptions of each. 

• Life Insurance
  Provides faculty and staff with term life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage as financial support for designated beneficiaries in the event of the death of benefits-eligible faculty and staff. This plan is fully University paid.
• Long Term Care Insurance
  The Long Term Care plan, sponsored by CNA, provides eligible faculty and staff with some degree of financial protection from the costs of a variety of services for individuals who are unable to care for themselves.
• Business Travel Insurance
  Business travel insurance provides faculty and staff with accidental death & dismemberment benefits while on a business trip for Northwestern University.
