School Programs
Baker Demonstration School provides Progressive Education for toddlers through eighth grade students. Since its inception in 1918, Baker has been rooted in the beliefs of our founder, Elizabeth Harrison, who conceptualized a children's school that promoted the ideals of Progressive Education still embodied in its 21st Century mission. Training fine teacher-students remains the second defining factor of Baker among neighboring schools and provides Baker with outstanding Associates in every classroom.
