The Faculty & Staff Information Systems Division of the Office of Human Resources supports two major enterprise systems (FASIS and Kronos) for the University community including the development, maintenance, compliance, customer service and ownership of all aspects of the systems.
The Human Resources Technical Support Division of the Office of Human Resources provides technical support to all employees of Human Resources, ensuring a high level of customer service is sustained and current technology is maintained in the department.
Reporting
- Design and run queries from FASIS
- Create address labels and spreadsheets for mass mailings
- Develop position management and Cognos Reporting
- Support interfaces to vendors and provide data feeds to ancillary/ enterprise systems
- Define and track HR metrics and key performance indicators
Special Projects
- Develop Faculty and Staff Information System
Training
- Train all modules in FASIS and Vista

Compliance
- Administer security for FASIS, Kronos, and Vista based on school authorization
- Ensure HIPAA compliance regarding FASIS and Health Records

- Provide production support/ maintenance and troubleshoot technical questions regarding FASIS and Self Service, including:
- Payroll
- Benefits
- Personal Information
- Online Directory
- Learning & Development
- Recruiting

FASIS Support
- Develop and implement enhancements in FASIS and Kronos
- Process biweekly and monthly payrolls
- Maintain all badge readers
- Update all emergency preparedness guidelines for HR
- Notify new employees about their NetIDs and email addresses
- Educate new employees about Self Service offerings and Kronos
HR Support
- Provide Hardware and Software Technical Support for the Office of Human Resources
- Provide Maintenance and support for the Office of Human Resources
- Assists in the maintenance of the HR Website
- Provides a 3 year replacement plan for PCs
