AlcoholEdu for College

Health Promotion and Wellness, in collaboration with New Student and Family Programs, coordinates the educational programs on alcohol and other drugs which all incoming students are expected to complete.

AlcoholEdu for College

AlcoholEdu for College, an online True Northwestern Dialogue requirement for all incoming students, helps you to consider and make informed decisions about the kind of role—if any—that alcohol could play in your Northwestern experience. Providing personalized feedback and strategies for dealing with the drinking behaviors of peers, AlcoholEdu aims to

  • Challenge your expectations about the effects of alcohol
  • Encourage reflection on how choices related to alcohol consumption may influence your academic and personal success
  • Engage you in creating a healthier campus community

Current completion deadlines for AlcoholEdu will be included in Purple Prep. Instructions on how to access AlcoholEdu for incoming students will be included on the New Student & Family Programs Summer Checklist webpage and in the March to the Arch newsletter in August each year.
