Director for Administration and Information Technology

Brian Druley provides oversight of the administrative operations and business affairs of the Health Service, which includes: budget/finance, human resources, purchasing, facilities management, and the healthcare information technology needs of the Health Service. This includes the areas of Administration, Patient Accounts, Health Information Management Services, Pharmacy, and Radiology. He also has responsibilities for managing accreditation and regulatory compliance.

Prior to his current position at the Health Service, Brian has held positions at Northwestern with Alumni Relations and Development, Human Resources, and Northwestern University Library. He completed his bachelor’s degree in communications from Elmhurst College. Outside of his work at Northwestern, Brian spends much of his free time volunteering in support of child advocacy to improve the qualify of life, health and education of children in foster care. He serves on the board of directors and the operations committee of Hephzibah Children’s Association, which is a non-profit organization in Oak Park. Additionally, he is a co-founder of the technology room at Hephzibah where he continues to develop resources, programming and learning opportunities that enable the children residing in their group homes to advance their skills and knowledge of computer-based technology.
