If you are experiencing a medical emergency, including those due to excessive alcohol consumption. call 911 to summon paramedics or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.
If you are experiencing an urgent physical illness or injury 
 

during business hours Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, call 312.695.8134 to schedule an acute/same-day appointment.

outside business hours, to speak to a physician, call 312.695.8134 and ask for the student health physician on-call. The answering service will have the physician paged to return the call. For the Northwestern University Student Health Service Evanston on-call nurse, call 847.491.8100.

The Northwestern Medicine Immediate Care Centers are open every day, including holidays from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (please identify yourself as a student). Charges associated with Immediate Care Center visits will be based on individual insurance.

 

If you are experiencing an urgent psychological or mental health need and would like to speak to the Counseling and Psychological Services counselor on-call call 847.491.2151, 24 hours a day, year round. Answering Service personnel will contact a Counseling and Psychological Services counselor who will speak with you on the phone.
