Virginia Neale joined Northwestern University’s Office of Government Relations in June 2012 and is resident in the University’s Washington, D.C. office. Her primary responsibilities include advocacy on research-related and regulatory matters before federal executive agencies and the U.S. Congress. She previously worked for Lewis-Burke Associates, a Washington, D.C. consulting firm, where she represented university clients in the areas of biomedical research, innovation and technology transfer, advanced manufacturing, and space policy. Prior to joining Lewis-Burke, she served in the Congressional offices of U.S. Rep. Ron Klein and U.S. Rep. Robert Wexler, and with the House Committee on Science. Virginia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University in Ohio.
