 Jennifer is Northwestern's representative to federal and state government. Her work includes managing governmental issues of concern to Northwestern at the state and federal levels, including liaison activities with legislative and executive agencies, funding for the University's research endeavors, and advocating higher education policy that benefits Northwestern students and faculty. Previously she served as the Manager of Government Relations for both the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, representing those organizations to Congress and the Federal Administration. Prior to that, she coordinated and developed volunteer recruitment efforts with City of Chicago agencies for Working in the Schools (WITS), as well as served as Assistant to the Director of the School of Accountancy at DePaul University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from DePaul University.
