Project Description & Statistics

The Nanofabrication Project will address needs resulting from growth of faculty research groups currently located in the Technological Institute and expected increases of new faculty in the Chemistry Department. As such, it will provide new research laboratories and associated office space for existing and emerging research initiatives. The building is planned to meet four key objectives:

The new facility will house programs in chemistry which are closely related to chemistry programs located in the Technological Institute and to biology programs located in the Materials and Life Sciences Building.

This project includes the construction of a new 43,800 nsf Center for Nanofabrication and Molecular Self Assembly research laboratory building for the Chemistry Department.
