Accessibility

Northwestern Facilities Management is committed to creating a welcoming and accessible environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. We strive to accommodate all members of our community.

The university complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act and looks for opportunities to go beyond what is required and adopt best practices that expand access for all.

Facilities Management incorporates accessible features into all construction and renovation projects and works with AccessibleNU and Human Resources to make additional accommodations as needed.

Our approach to accessibility extends beyond our buildings to include our entire campus. We address parking areas and consider how people will navigate the campus. During construction projects, we ensure that accessible paths remain available, allowing for continued access to facilities.
