The Office of the Controller is responsible for managing the general accounting and treasury operations of the University. This includes:
- Administering the General Ledger, Grants Management, Fixed Assets, and Accounts Payable
- Maintaining the Chart of Accounts
- Ensuring compliance with accepted accounting principles other regulatory requirements
- Coordinating the development of recommended financial polices and procedures
- Providing guidance to University business process owners in the interpretation of complex financial policy issues
