  DETAILS
The De Kármán Fellowship Trust recognizes students whose scholastic achievements promise fair for future scholarly distinction in their fields of study. As Humanities are favored in the disposition of awards, this stands as the premier fellowship for a student of English, say, or history, languages, philosophy, religion, or American Studies, among others. Its board of selectors might be characterized as a highly intelligent, perceptive group of thinkers who wish to free rising scholars from at least some of the financial burden of American higher education.
