  DETAILS
The Harriman award provides financial support to students who have already applied for and received State-Department summer internships (which are normally unpaid). Therefore, the first step in the Harriman process is to apply to the State Department Summer Intern Program early in fall quarter. After the State Department has selected its interns and conducted security clearances, eligible candidates are invited to apply for the Harriman award.
