DETAILS |

The George Mitchell Scholarships were established
in 1998 to honor the former U.S. senator who served as chair of the peace negotiations
in Northern Ireland. The U.S.-Ireland Alliance selects 12 Mitchell Scholars from
among more than 250 applicants. Note that you are eligible to apply up to age
30; seniors may wish to explore this as an option several years hence. Identify
programs of study at eligible universities in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Read more about student Peter Frosch's experience with this program in the
winner profiles section.
