  PROCEDURE  
   

Prospective applicants should file a Registration Form as soon as they have formed their plans and definitely before May 31 with the Office of Fellowships. Completed Fulbright applications, including all supporting documents (e.g., letters of reference, transcripts, language evaluation) are due on internal deadline date. Application must be submitted online; see Fulbright website (link above) for instructions on using the online application, which becomes available May 1. For additional instructions, stop by the Office of Fellowships or email us to obtain a copy of the "Northwestern Fulbright Companion."

    All students in residence must apply through the NU Fulbright Committee while recent graduates may apply "at-large." We provide advice and essay feedback to all applicants, and encourage all to review our extensive collection of past Fulbright winners' essays.
