The Fulbright is the U.S. government's premier scholarship program. Designed to foster mutual understanding among nations through educational exchanges, the Fulbright sends Americans to over 100 nations. Grantees from all academic disciplines carry out programs of their own design. They study at foreign universities, carry out research in archives and in the field, train in music and the performing arts, and teach English to foreign students in more than a dozen countries that offer Teaching Assistantships. All students in residence must apply through the NU Fulbright Committee while recent graduates may apply "at-large." We provide advice and essay feedback to all applicants, and encourage all to review our extensive collection of past Fulbright winners' essays. |
