Each year, the Rhodes Trust awards 95 scholarships
worldwide, including 32 to U.S. students. Past winners have displayed a
wide range of intellectual interests and career goals. Historically,
Rhodes winners have extraordinary academic qualifications. In addition to
proven intellectual ability and academic achievement of a high standard,
applicants must have integrity of character, interest in and respect for
their fellow beings, and the ability to lead. A rule of
thumb might be 3.8 or above.
