The Alumni and Friends of the London School of Economics
(AFLSE) awards up to four full-tuition scholarships each year. Receipt of the
award depends upon admission to LSE, and students must have applied to LSE by
the time applications are submitted to the Alumni and Friends. The successful
applicant is fully invested in the preparation of an honors thesis and generally
will have done research with a faculty member in this or a related field prior
to beginning the thesis. What distinguishes winners is the passion of their interest
in their field, the perfect match of background and proposed study, and the intimacy
with which recommenders can discuss their current work and future potential. |
