University of Oxford Junior Research Fellowship
The College offers up to three Stipendiary Research Fellowship in Humanities, normally tenable from 1 October for 3 years. The subject area of the Fellowships will be announced at the time of advertising. The person elected will be based in Oxford, and will carry out research and publish in the specified field. Stipendiary Fellowships offer a salary, free single accommodation in College (within an allowance), Common Table meals (free meals in Hall to an agreed level) and other benefits. Candidates should have relevant postgraduate experience, and hold, or be near completion of a doctorate by commencement of the Fellowship. The next Fellowship is expected to be advertised in January 2016 for commencement in October 2016.
Other Stipendiary Fellowships in specific subject areas may be offered from time to time when funds allow, and would normally be advertised in the early Spring for commencement in October.
The fellowships are normally awarded to those who are approaching the end of the their doctoral research or who have begun postdoctoral study.
