American Association of University Women Fellowship

Funding for female researchers in a wide range of disciplines. Candidates must intend to return to their home country after completing studies.

English Opens Doors in Chile

Teach English in Chilean public and subsidized schools. Must be between 21 - 35 years. For native or near native speakers. 

Rotary Foundation Scholarship

Scholarships for year-long study at a university in any country that has Rotary clubs to promote international understanding and peace.

Spencer Dissertation Fellowships For Education

Supports research analysis and dissertation writing on a topic relevant to the improvement of education.

Arts & Humanities

Charlotte W. Newcombe Doctoral Dissertation Fellowships

Funding for study of ethical or religious values in all fields of the humanities and social sciences. Applicants should expect to complete dissertations during the fellowship year.

SSRC International Dissertation Field Research Fellowships

Provides support for social science and humanities dissertation field research. Applicants must be doctoral candidates who have completed all requirements except fieldwork and dissertation at the start of the fellowship.

Public Policy/Service

Manatt Democracy Studies Fellowship

Six-week fellowship to study election administration and civic participation in the policital process. Applicants must be pursuing a graduate degree in international relations, political science, public administration, or a related area.

One Acre Fund Junior Program Associate

The Buffett Institute is partnering with the One Acre Fund to offer a qualified Northwestern student a 2-year paid field placement supporting their operations in East Africa. The One Acre Fund is a social enterprise organization that serves smallholder farmers with financing, technical assistance and agricultural support services in order to reduce hunger and poverty. Applicants must possess previous field experience.
