CAPS provides counseling to individuals and groups as well as workshops and outreach programs. CAPS has a team of highly qualified and experienced mental health professionals who are dedicated to helping students work through developmental needs, emotional difficulties, adjustments, and crises.
In meeting the counseling needs of undergraduate, graduate, and professional students, the goal of CAPS is to help students, faculty, and administrators maximize the total learning experience at Northwestern University.

This section is designed to help you access online resources and self-help books. Some of the resources could be personally helpful to you. Others may be helpful if you are worried about a friend. As there are a lot of links provided, please use the list below to jump to your relevant grouping or feel free to browse at your own pace. None of these are a substitute for therapy or consultation.
