Biofeedback
Winter 2010
Biofeedback is an empirically supported method of treating anxiety, stress, chronic pain, and other conditions. Biofeedback is the use of electronic devices to monitor and amplify nervous system activity. Such nervous system activity is directly reflective of how calm or stressed we might be feeling. Being able to "see" certain aspects of our nervous system functioning in real time allows the user to control physical, emotional, and mental activity for the betterment of health.
To participate in this workshop, CAPS asks that you commit to attending all sessions of a group. We also require registering (form below) in advance as equipment is limited.
