Background

Majority of my professional experience come from college counseling centers. I have enjoyed my experience supporting students navigate various challenges as they transition through emerging adulthood. I tend to conceptualize from a collective of theoretical orientations, combining psychodynamic, development, relational-cultural, and feminist theories. I tend to incorporate interventions from various approaches (e.g., Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Processing Therapy, Emotion-focus Therapy, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy). I value the creative process of my clinical work therapy and enjoy incorporating stories and metaphors in therapy.
