Qualifications and Stipend

Applicants must have prior to the fellowship starting date:

  • a completed doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program in counseling or clinical psychology
  • a completed doctoral dissertation prior to starting the Postdoctoral Fellowship
  • a completed psychology internship from an APA-accredited internship program

Qualified candidates should have strong clinical skills in different lengths of treatment, assessment, case management, clinical consultation, and crisis intervention. Preferred candidates will have counseling center experience and understand outreach and consultation programs.  Ideal candidates will have  experience in one or more of the following specialized areas: assessment/treatment of eating concerns, assessment/treatment of substance abuse issues, and/or working with student-athletes.  

The program is one year in duration, with a starting date near the end of August.  The position carries a stipend of at least $30,238 plus benefits.
