Postdoctoral Fellowship

The Postdoctoral Fellowship is designed for a doctoral graduate of a psychology program who is seeking licensure and is interested in integrating clinical work with outreach and consultation in the college mental-health setting.  At least 70% of the Fellow’s time will be spent delivering clinical services, and the remainder in a combination of outreach, consultation, professional development, and other activities at the CAPS.  One Postdoctoral Fellowship is on Northwestern's main Evanston Campus where CAPS serves all undergraduate students and most graduate students, and student athletes.  One Postdoctoral Fellowship is on the Chicago Campus where CAPS serves professional students, including law, medical, physician's assistant, and physical therapy students as well as graduate students in health and medical sciences.  Some services, such as initial phone assessment, consultation for faculty, peers, and parents, afterhours coverage, outreach, are provided by all CAPS staff and Postdoctoral Fellows to students on both campuses.

The start date for the 2017-2018 Postdoctoral Fellowship will be on August 21, 2017.
