Application Procedure
Applications are invited from graduate students in masters and doctoral programs in counseling and clinical psychology, social work, and health education.
Applications should include:
- A cover letter explaining your interest in this particular practicum--applications will only be considered if the cover letter addresses your interest in this particular practicum. Very Important: CAPS has two separate practicum programs. To ensure you are considered for the correct program, please do the following: state clearly in your cover letter that you are applying to the Outreach & Education Externship; make sure you put the name of the practicum in which you are interested in the address on the envelope.
- Your curriculum vita.
- Two letters of recommendation. We recommend that at least one be from a supervisor who has familiarity with your work in teaching, educational presentations, and/or health-related interventions.
Application Timeline:
Applications for the 2013-2014 Academic Year will be accepted beginning February 2013 and will continue until the positions are filled. Two positions are available. On-site interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis starting early February.
Send application materials via US Mail (or FedEx, UPS, or another carrier). No electronic applications will be accepted.
