Stipend and Benefits

Interns in the 2014-2015 cohort will receive a stipend of $26,621. Interns choose from health insurance options available to other NU employees and pay the fee for the chosen plan.  Interns are provided with 10 vacation days to be used during the internship year, 7 professional development days, and up to 10 days of sick leave. Each intern has her/his own office, equipped with a computer, printer, Internet access, digital recording technology, and voice mail. As NU employees, interns have NU e-mail accounts, business cards, access to library resources, and discounts at local merchants.
