Resources for Public Speaking

Public speaking is often nerve-wracking for people who are more introverted than extroverted. Unfortunately (or fortunately), it is the introverted nature of many scientists that leads them to discover great things. So, what can you do to prepare yourself to give informative and stimulating seminars/talks/lectures, etc? Below are a few documents created by scientists who are well known for their excellent and exciting presentations. One easy way to begin this process is to critically analyze the seminars and talks you attend to deconstruct them into what works what doesn't. Once you start to see what you enjoy in others' talks, you can begin to incorporate those elements into your own voice and style.
