Who do I contact if I've lost something on one of the shuttles?

If you've misplaced an item while riding on the Ryan Field, Purple or Purple Express, Shop-N-Ride, or Frostbite Express Shuttle, you can call lost and found for Coach USA at 773.890.2063

If you've misplaced an item while riding on the Intercampus, Chicago Train or Chicago Saferide/Late Night Shuttle, you can call lost and found for Free Enterprise at 708.474.7474


What are the Chicago Northwestern Campus Shuttles and where are the shuttle pick-up points located?

The McGaw Center Shuttle makes regular trips during each weekday from the Northwestern Chicago campus to Children's Memorial Hospital at Fullerton and Halsted. The shuttle stop at Northwestern is located in front of the Ward Building at 303 E. Chicago Avenue. In the early morning and later afternoon hours, it also makes a brief stop at Commonwealth Diversey. This is a short distance from St. Joseph's Hospital.

The Train Station Shuttle, which travels to the various Metra stations in the downtown "Loop" area, has two pick up and four drop off locations at Northwestern's Chicago campus. The pickup locations for the shuttle are in front of the Stone Pavilion at 320 E. Huron and the NMH employee entrance on Fairbanks between Huron and Erie. The drop off locations for the Train Station Shuttle on campus are Fairbanks at the corner of Erie, Fairbanks on the corner of Huron, the Ward building at 303 E. Chicago, and at 680 N Lake Shore Dr.

The Northwestern University Intercampus Shuttle travels between the Chicago Campus and the Evanston Campus. In Chicago, it can be boarded at the Ward Building at 303 E. Chicago Avenue.

What are the various costs for riding the shuttle?

Tickets for the McGaw Medical Center shuttle can be purchased either as single one-way tickets for $1.25 each or as a monthly pass for $33.00 which is valid only for the month that it is sold. Tickets can be purchased through University Services at 710 N. Lake Shore Drive, Abbott Hall, Room 100. Monthly passes go on sale the last week of the month.

The Intercampus Shuttle is a free shuttle for anyone displaying a WildCARD ID. You must have an unexpired WildCARD to ride the shuttle.

Tickets for the Train Station Shuttle can be purchased through University Services at 710 N Lake Shore Drive, Abbott Hall, Room 100. The cost of a 10-ride sheer is $11.00 and the monthly is $35.00. Monthly passes go on sale the last week of the month. An active WildCARD must be shown at the time of purchase.

Which shuttles are available in Evanston?

The Intercampus Shuttle and Ryan Field shuttle are available in Evanston with several pick-up and drop-off locations as well as numerous Student Shuttles: the Purple Route and Purple Express, and the Shop-N-Ride.
