• Overview of class

  Students will learn basics of keying, compositing, and two-dimensional special effects in Adobe After Effects and Apple Motion, including titles and graphics. We will work with masks, alpha channels, tracking, and explore 3D space, including working with generators and particle emitters. Basic familiarity with Photoshop and Final Cut Pro is required. Familiarity with Illustrator helpful.
